UNITE STUDENT BUILDINGS IN LIVERPOOL
Precision completed their Complete Switchgear Package for two of Unite’s newest student accommodations. Consisting of a 3200Amp MSB, delivering power via two Rising Busbar Systems, each floor is served by BNO Approved Metering Distribution Panels, accounting for 1085 student apartments, landlord services and client critical cower. It proved to be a complex and logistically challenging project, delivered to exact client requirements.
QUARRY AND WATER TREATMENT PLANTS IN DUBLIN
For clients Irish Waste Water and Accumin Solutions, Precision engaged with a number of original equipment manufacturers, delivering PLC and motors control systems for their sand washing, water filtration and materials handling systems. They were also involved with equipment for controlling the plant: conveyors, hoppers, de-watering screens, magnets, dosing and more. They are able to create completely bespoke control panels varying from a Form 2 Wall Mounting Enclosure to a Form 4 Multi Section Intelligent Motor Control Centre, complying with the latest BS EN 61439-1/BS EN 61439-2 low voltage regulations.
WUXI BIOLOGIC IN DUNDALK
WuXi Biologic, China’s leading biologics medicine manufacturer, recently invested in a new facility in Dundalk, due for completion in 2021. Precision designed two offsite switch rooms, built to exact client specifications. They installed, within bespoke containerised skids, the Form 4 T2 3200Amp MSB. This approach benefits the project in terms of labour hours, health and safety, and the obvious advantages of off-site prefabrication.
NORTHWAY SUBSTRATES MSB
This project consisted of 2 No. 11KV transformers, supplying a Form 4 T6 MSB 2 x 6300Amp ACBs with Bus Coupler for TX1 & TX2, along with G59 Controlled 3000KVA Gen Set and 32 Feeders ranging from 63amp to 3200Amp ACBs. Precision worked closely with the OEM and client, to design a bespoke mains Power Distribution System. Precision also supplied the Sub Distribution Boards, ranging from 3200Amp SDBs to 250Amp Panel Boards
EFFLUENT PUMPING AND STORAGE SYSTEMS IN TYRONE
Commissioning a bespoke electrical control system for handling effluent, Precision liaised with the suppliers of pumps, tanks, and pneumatic systems, to create a full SCADA/HMI Controlled Motor Control centre (MCC), pumping, mixing and measuring liquids to two 8700M/3 Tanks. Consisting of aerators, standby skid pump sets, flow meters, ultrasonic sensors, level probes and display instrumentation, Precision delivered a system that provided high level of control to the user.
