Absolute Technologies – AV specialist and innovator

Absolute Technologies have grown to become one of the leading installation companies in Northern Ireland for audio and visual services.

Absolute Technologies was formed in 2004 with the vision to improve the standard of sales, installation and service within the professional audio/visual industry. They have grown to become one of the leading installation companies in Northern Ireland for audio and visual services.

Absolute Technologies’ remit has diversified and expanded to answer the growing technical needs within the education, commercial, government and houses of worship sectors by providing tailor made, bespoke technical solutions. This ability to adapt and pivot to answer changing demands has borne them well during covid-19, says Matthew Cordner, Director at Absolute Technologies.

“The current pandemic has been the catalyst for Absolute Technologies to employ a lot of innovation and R&D,” he says. “Throughout this period we have enabled businesses, churches, education and local government to continue communicating at a time where communication is hardest to do, but of most value. From council meetings to funerals of loved ones.”

While restrictions applied to building sites, Absolute Technologies responded to the downturn of projects by working in conjunction with a number of local councils to develop, test and evaluate video conferencing and streaming solutions to interface with the complex audio and video conferencing systems previously installed by Absolute Technologies. “This allowed the councils to continue with day-to-day meetings, keeping fully accessible services to the public,” says Matthew.

With restrictions on public gatherings Absolute Technologies continues to provide capture and online streaming of church services using HD PTZ cameras and a variety of HD broadcast products, giving good quality imaging and sound
