WSM Datatech is celebrating a year of success as the company marks its first anniversary. The hub for networking and data equipment is part of a number of specialist divisions established by the Edmundson Group 12 months ago and it has proved to be a major success.
“We’re delighted at how Datatech has been received by the industry and at how well it is performing,” explained John Auld, Branch Manager at WS Mercer, Belfast, where Datatech is based. “This is a thriving industry and we have put a lot of time, effort and investment into making this work. The result has been our involvement in a number of prestigious domestic and commercial projects and a strong reputation as specialists in networking and data equipment. “We’re looking forward to building on that in the future.”
The recent appointment of Carl Wilson aims to build on that success, and he is looking forward to the challenge. Carl joined the company three months ago from another electrical wholesaler and is excited about the opportunities his new role as a networking and data specialist will offer.
“I started as a van driver and have worked my way up to a sales position, so securing this new role is an important step forward for me,” said Carl. “The foundations are already in place, as we already have superb relationships with electrical consultants and contractors as well as a comprehensive product range from the leading manufacturers in the networking and data sector. “This is an exciting time to be involved in this industry and I look forward to working with our customers to bring them the best service possible in networking and data products.”
