We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend, George Kernohan.
George was a leading figure in the electrical industry for more than 40 years and as Managing Director of Braid Electrical Services, George provided training and employment for a large number of people in his hometown of Ballymena.
In 2019, he was awarded with the Overall Achievement Award at Northern Ireland’s Electrical Awards for his services to the industry and received a standing ovation from the crowd of industry peers who agreed with the judge’s description of George as ‘one of life’s gentlemen.’
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues during this very difficult time. George was an exceptional figure within the local electrical industry and he will be sadly missed by us all.
