Ventilux sales and service team member, Edel Byrne, is used to going the extra mile to keep customers happy, but this month she’s also racking up the kilometres to help raise money in a sponsored cycle for LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.
Edel is taking part in a challenge to cycle 250km during the month of August. “I am in no way an experienced cyclist,” says Edel, “but I took on the challenge in a bid to raise some funds for the hospice which cares for children with life-limiting conditions and residential care for children and young adults with disabilities. In the current pandemic fundraising events have been cancelled so this is a great way to support the cause while doing so in my own time in my own location.”
On average, Edel is cycling 5-10km daily. “I am very lucky to live in Roundwood, surrounded by some beautiful trails making it so much more enjoyable.”
