Take advantage of the One Eaton approach

The ‘One Eaton’ approach is offering customers access to a global approach combined with a local service.
As a world leader in diversified power management solutions, Eaton is able to provide a complete portfolio of electrical power protection, distribution and monitoring technologies.
Team restructuring has also brought about benefits to the offering in Northern Ireland, with the local team overseen by UK Sales Director, Dylan Mansfield and led by Stephen Balflour, the company’s Northern Ireland Sales Manager.
The experienced team also includes David Moore, Northern Ireland Account Manager, and Chris
Orr, Northern Ireland Business Development Manager – both of whom are well known faces in the industry – along with the latest addition, Jason Hill, EWS Fire Account Manager.
Many of the team are better known for their roles with Cooper Lighting and Safety but since the acquisition of electrical equipment supplier in 2012, Eaton has been able to expand the product portfolio.
By capitalising on the Cooper’s proven capabilities in utility power distribution, smart grid, lighting, lighting controls, wiring devices, and safety solutions, Eaton has combined these specialisms with its own strengths in power quality, power distribution and energy services.
Stephen Balfour, Northern Ireland Sales Manager, believes the new ‘One Eaton’ philosophy provides a wide range of advantages for customers.
“We have such an extensive range on offer but this new approach makes it easier for customers to access these products,” he said.
“With everything from switchgear MV/LV, lighting, wiring accessories, consumer units and fusegear through to fixings, UPS systems, fire panels, emergency lighting, including CBU and static invertors, this gives us unique strengths and opportunities in the market.
“We are really excited with the expansion of an already very successful team in Northern Ireland and are currently interviewing for a new member of the team.”
Eaton provides a complete portfolio of electrical power protection, distribution and monitoring technologies including:

• Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) from the smallest home office to the largest hyperscale datacentre applications.
• Intelligent software that allows the monitoring and control of Eaton hardware, plus management of IT virtual infrastructure.
• In-rack power distribution with options for standard, metered, monitored and managed technology.
• Medium voltage (1kV to 35kV) and low voltage (≤1kV) MCC, power distribution and switching solutions through to final distribution equipment.
• Engineering services, including site assembly and pre-commissioning, maintenance contracts and power system studies.
• Lighting and control systems for commercial and residential environments.
• Fire and security detection and alerting systems.

David Moore, Northern Ireland Account Manager, added, “Our aim is to continue to build on the strong foundations that we already have in place and we are working hard to get the message out to “The ‘One-Eaton’ approach means we can basically supply customers with a wide range of different products all under the one brand. Contractors know it’s a brand they can trust and it simplifies the process for them if they can source products from a single company.”
As you would expect from a company the size of Eaton, all products are designed to meet latest industry standards and manufactured to the highest levels of quality. But this is enhanced with a company ethos that extends beyond the initial purchase of the products themselves.
Eaton offers a fully professional presales and post-sales support function that includes technical support, contract management, BIM/Revit models, CAD and a full range of delivery, installation and life-cycle management services.
David added, “We take pride in the service we deliver and being able to offer BIM/Revit models shows that we continue to embrace new technology. We proactively engage with customers to combine our products and service to build an overall solution that is right for each need.”
