Niavac helps train Ulster Champions

Niavac’s collaboration with Tyrone GAA wins a place in the All-Ireland semi-final at Croke Park...

As part of Niavac’s long-standing relationship with the GAA, the Belfast-based systems integration specialists recently installed an AV project at the Tyrone GAA Performance Hub located in Garvaghey.

The bespoke facility boasts nine multi-use strength and conditioning workstations, a sprinting/testing track, a nutrition station and kitchen area as well as a relaxation area. To further improve the training experience of GAA athletes, the Niavac team was tasked with installing a range of digital displays across the space to show information and custom training plans which included: Four 55” Panasonic displays in the weights area; one 55” Panasonic display at the cardio area and another 50” Panasonic display was also installed in the kitchen area. They were also asked to install a PA system in the facility. This system covers the entire gym area and features multi-format media playback and Sonos connectivity.

After beating Monaghan to become Ulster Champions, Tyrone were facing Kerry in the All-Ireland semi-final when Ireland’s Electrical Magazine was going to press.
