Attendees wishing to stay the night in the hotel can avail of a special offer of €205 room only or €245 for a double room plus breakfast.

Rooms must be reserved at least 42 days prior to the event. The IEBA Black Tie Charity Ball isn’t just an extremely worthy event; it’s a time for the industry to get together and kick up their heels before the Christmas period truly sets in.

Be sure to book your ticket and support this important cause. Founded in 2001, the Irish Electrical Benevolent Association (IEBA) is an Irish charity that provides short-term financial support to colleagues and their families in the electrical industries that have experienced unexpected financial difficulties as a result of bereavement, illness, accident, redundancy etc. The charity has and continues to make a real difference in the lives of those who have fallen on hard times.

The charity is solely for people who work or have worked in the electrical industries and show a requirement for financial assistance.

When unforeseen financial circumstances arise, it is comforting to know that the IEBA is there to help. To date, the charity has distributed in excess of €700,000 to 120 families. However, there is still a significant number of people within the industry who need assistance.

This response from a family that the IEBA provided support to in 2016 is typical of the relief a small donation can make to a family in difficulty – “I am writing to you in connection with the fantastic help you have given us. My husband had a massive stroke in January 2015, which he was not expected to survive. He did, thank God. However, it left him totally disabled. Since then you have helped us invaluably by paying my husband’s credit card debt, which allows us to have the heating on when needed.

My husband is sitting all day and feels the cold” – E &H Dublin. Donations to the IEBA are crucial and fundraising events such as the Black Tie Ball are a crucial part of that.
