How at risk is your network?

Secure network architectures need to constantly evolve to keep up with the latest advanced persistent threats. There are two ways to find out if your solution isn’t keeping up – wait for a breach to happen or run validation tests.

More and more frequently we are seeing local companies being hit by cyber attacks – often with major financial implications for them. To combat this threat, Cara Network Solutions Ltd has teamed up with leading IT security manufacturer, Fortinet, to offer our customers an opportunity to see if they are at risk today or if they have already been compromised. This free service is known as a Cyber Threat Assessment Program (CTAP). A Cyber Threat Assessment can help you better understand:

– Security and threat prevention – which application vulnerabilities are attacking your network; which malware/botnets were detected; and which devices are ‘at risk’. This also includes firewall assessment and security breach probability.

User productivity – which peer-to-peer, social media, instant messaging, and other apps are running. This provides application visibility control.

Network utilisation and performance – what are your throughput, session and bandwidth usage requirements during peak hours. This will provide network utilisation and monitoring tests for performance optimisation.

In today’s breakneck world of information security, it is paramount that both security staff and executives who are responsible for maintaining the security of their networks are aware of the current types of threats, incidents, and traffic impacting on their networks.

The threat landscape continues to evolve – what was an effective strategy last year may no longer apply today. Beyond that, the demands on your infrastructure continue to expand at greater and greater speeds, so today’s threat landscape is making unprecedented demands on your network. Content, applications and transactions all require incredible amounts of bandwidth and room to grow into the future. Coupled with the regular demands on your network, it’s clear that securing all of this information and data is no easy feat.

If you are concerned about the impact that a cyber security breach could have on your business, contact us to arrange a free CTAP and obtain a unique view of how secure your computer network actually is.
