EJ Harper & Co has opened an impressive new showroom in Belfast that showcases some of the innovative lighting and cabling solutions on offer.
The significant investment has resulted in a new separate trade counter location, with the original space now utilised to demonstrate products from Calex, Flexform, ELD, Hamilton Litestat, Varilight, Moretti and Coolicon, amongst others, to architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors and the general public.
Noel Harper, Managing Director, explained, “This new showroom gives us the perfect place to highlight some of these highly distinctive, designer solutions to our customers. A lot of the products on show can be used individually or to complement each other and it makes sense to be able to let customers see how they look.
“This type of lighting has become really popular in recent years and while we have always offered these products, we can now showcase them a lot better.”
Flexform – a subsidiary of EJ Harper & Co – has provided decorative cable and lighting component design to customers across the world and this has led to a natural link up with Calex – a company offering decorative and period light bulbs in standard LED, Giant LED, Candle, Globe and G9 all dimmable LED.
The vintage look is also available through Moretti, a manufacturer of hand-crafted, solid brass aged or polished light fittings ranging from pendant shades and replicate oil lamps to wall-mounted bulkheads and marine accommodation lamps. Complementing this is the Coolicon range of enamel light shades which were popular in the 1930’s-1950’s. These are available in 10, 12 and 14-inch diameters and a range of different colours.
Modern options are represented by the LED Tapes supplied by ELD in pre-terminated lengths or in aluminium profiles and also by the extensive catalogue of its LED light fittings; Varilight decorative plate switches, sockets and LED dimming controls and Hamilton Litestat’s decorative electrical wiring accessories, lighting controls and multi-room audio systems.
