The new counter is a long time coming, there was a lot of planning and developing and we have all put in a lot of work behind the scenes with staff training and new appointments which all paved the way for what you see today” explained Stephen. “The trade counter is so important to us and the life blood of our business. It’s where we service and meet most of our customers on a daily basis and what we now have is something modern, bright, spacious and well stocked that reflects our customer service philosophy.”
The new trade counter is now at the opposite side of the building facing out onto the main road, giving the team a lot more space for product displays, a modern new look and additional computer terminals to enable an improved speed and quality of the trade counter service
“We have a fantastic product portfolio which we have expanded even further to include a lot more display stock, power tools and accessories and can now showcase that a lot better. The new toilet, seating area and coffee dock will make the whole customer visit a more efficient, enjoyable experience,” said Stephen. “We had several of our key suppliers involved as part of the open day and the attendance levels and feedback from customers was superb.
“I would like to personally thank each of the suppliers for the time and effort and support they afforded us and indeed all the suppliers, customers and our own team that helped to make the new counter and the open day possible. It was a mammoth task, but we now have a counter we can all be proud of.”
