Demesne Electrical has expanded the company’s Dungannon facility to create a new super-branch.
One of Ireland’s largest electrical distributors of industrial control, automation, energy-saving and installation products, the expansion at the Ballysaggart Business Complex has created an additional 50% storage for Demesne’s extensive product range. The move follows last year’s decision to close the company’s Belfast branch and centralise operations in Dungannon. However, Demesne Electrical is keen to stress that the change has not affected the company’s ability to meet customer demands, with next-day delivery guaranteed across Northern Ireland.
“The change has allowed us to centralise and expand both our stock levels and our staff in Dungannon,” explained Chris McKenna, Northern Ireland and UK Sales Director. “We had a record year in 2018 and we’re building from a strong position, so the creation of this super-branch is a positive step forward.
“Our main customer base is heavy industry, including the manufacturing, engineering and quarrying sectors, and as this is particularly strong in the Tyrone area, our location and the addition of our new mezzanine flooring to increase stock levels will help us meet the growing demands for our products.”
Demesne Electrical’s reach, however, extends right across the UK and Ireland, with the company operating successful branches in Dublin and Cork. This will ensure that, regardless of the Brexit outcome, Demesne Electrical can continue to deliver.
