Instrument Repairs & Calibration (IRC Ltd) provides UKAS calibration to all industries while maintaining a reputation for quality, cost effectiveness and reliability. The Newtownabbey-based UKAS laboratory is fully equipped with market-leading standards and run by a highly qualified team of engineers.
The laboratory capability covers a broad range of test equipment and allows IRC to efficiently undertake all instrumentation repair and calibration requirements, providing an integrated service from pick up to delivery.
IRC offers calibration of instrumentation for measuring the following parameters – High Voltage – Temperature – Humidity – Pressure – Torque, Dimensional Metrology and Mass. Calibrations are traceable to National Standards and are in accordance with procedures laid down in BS EN ISO/IEC17025:2017.
All items that are within our UKAS Scope of Accreditation automatically receive UKAS calibration certificates at no extra cost.
IRC has a large stock of test equipment for supply and hire and are distributors for the leading manufacturers such as- Megger, Fluke, Chauvin Arnoux, ETI, Seaward, Flir, Mitutoyo, Norbar , GMI and many more, supplying quality instrumentation throughout Ireland.
With the company focus based on Customer Service and with a computer-based management system that is flexible enough to meet, react and adapt to any customer requirements, the company’s size has steadily increased over the years. This is largely through customer loyalty and reputation and to support this IRC has recently moved to a new larger facility.
The first-class Calibration & Repair service gives customers confidence that their test equipment is dealt with in a totally professional manor, with the bonus of a direct point of contact available to quickly respond to any queries, giving extra assurance. ACCREDITATION
IRC is proud to hold ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accreditation. It is the only accreditation that defines what is required of a laboratory for it to demonstrate both technical competence of the personnel and the availability of all the technical resources needed to produce reliable data and results for a defined set of tests, measurements or calibrations.
This gives customers full confidence in the calibration work being done.
