Benefit from the Nordic experience with Garo

Norway has the world’s most mature Electric Vehicle (EV) market – in 2017 29% of all new cars were EV and they have a target of only selling EVs by 2025 – that’s in just seven years’ time.

Public sentiment backs this movement, wit h almost half of Norwegians intending to buy electric on their next car purchase. To meet this demand, the Norwegian Government has launched a programme to nance the establishment of at least two fast charging stations every 50km on all main roads in the country.

Garo Electric, established in 1982, is part of the multinational Garo Group plc and the company’s Nordic counterparts are electric vehicle charging market leaders in the region. They have completed numerous high profile installations including Volvo Car’s R&D facility, Charge and Drive Highways Norway, all Swedavia Airport Car Parks, Sweden’s Green Highway, McDonalds and multiple energy utility companies and service stations.

Garo has brought this extensive experience, innovation and expertise to the UK and Ireland, offering a premium quality, end-to-end range for the local market. Over the last 12 months, they have completed installations across a number of high pro le organisations, including the CRU (Commission for Regulation of Utilities Water and Energy), Facebook, Musgraves and the National Treasury Management Agency.

The company is the only supplier on the island of Ireland to provide the full EV range, from Wall Mounted Chargers through to Fast and Super Fast Stations, providing local service, support and after care with the company’s own engineers’ network. The comprehensive range offers charging solutions for institutions, workplaces, offices, shopping centres, car parking spaces, service stations and more.

Garo’s Product Development team are continually developing and enhancing the charging range to meet the future requirements of our customers.
