The Weidmüller name has been synonymous with AP Haslam for over 60 years. And now the Dublin firm is delighted to be able to showcase the product range on its new Weidmuller wall which is situated in their office. Kevin Barry, Weidmuller’s Sales Development Engineer – who has met and worked closely with many AP Haslam customers – is excited to walk you through the many products on display.
“The Weidmüller range of terminals are familiar to most customers and the Weidmuller Power Supply range including Pro Eco and Pro Max are becoming increasingly popular with many customers, however some products may be less familiar,” said Kevin.
“Solutions such as unmanaged and managed industrial ethernet switches (available in both copper and fiber variants), along with our industrial routers and wireless/bridge access points are all available. These, along with an overview of our Surge Protection and Rock Star*Heavy Duty Connectors can all been seen and explained in your office or by viewing our display for yourself.
“As an accredited agent for Weidmüller, AP Haslam manufactures and assembles hazardous area equipment bespoke to your particular circumstances. So whether its stainless steel, aluminium or plastic, we can provide your electrical assemblies with legally compliant, protection in industrial explosive-risk zones.”
Drilling, milling, cut-outs and threaded clearance entries to enclosures are all completed with increased speed and accuracy using the newly- acquired Rittal Perforex Machining Centre – ensuring turn-around on ATEX assemblies are completed with precision and on time.
Originally from South Kerry, Kevin joined Weidmuller in 2016. As Sales Development Engineer for Weidmuller, Kevin works together with AP Haslam’s sales team supporting the introduction of new products in Weidmuller’s Electronic portfolio – such as Surge Protection, U-Remote & MaxGuard.
Kevin also provides support and information on Weidmuller’s market leading terminals including the Klippon Connect terminal blocks with Push-in Meanwhile, Richie Kavanagh recently marked his 30th year with AP Haslam. In recent months Richie has been talking to customers about the company’s workshops, ATEX capability and AP Haslam’s comprehensive range of EX lights. A passionate Dublin supporter and the father of a budding Camogie campion Richie is no stranger to Croke Park and other GAA venues.
