It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Bernard Lynch, Business Development and Marketing Manager for AP Haslem.
A well-known and much-loved personality within Ireland’s electrical industry, Bernard was MC for the annual Electrical Benevolence Association Ball and the EFI awards.
In tribute to Bernard, Keith Haslem, Managing Director for AP Haslem, said his passing left a “huge void” in the company that would be “impossible to fill.”
“All of us at AP Haslem are shocked and stunned. Bernard was a great friend and colleague to everyone; staff, customers and suppliers alike. He was a mentor to me since he began working with us in March, 2015, and his influence and contribution to the development of our business has been immense across all sectors.
“He was a wonderful man and a true gentleman, who will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege to know him.”
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues during this very difficult time. Bernard was a vibrant and esteemed member within the Irish electrical industry and his loss will be felt by all.
