Century Electrical has a lot to be happy about at the moment. Its ever-popular Cookstown branch is currently celebrating 10 years in business and with an impressive product range and expert staff on hand to help customers with their every requirement, another successful 10 years seems highly likely.
CEW’s Cookstown branch operates from a business park located on the outskirts of the town. Back when it was first established, CEW was one of the first businesses to take up residence in the park. Over the years, they have seen the park flourish and now, it’s home to over 15 traders.
“Ten years ago, we moved into a new, purpose-built premises which was ideal for what we needed – a large counter area, a spacious warehouse and plenty of parking spaces, both to the front and the rear of the building.
“We’re located on the edge of the town and in the heart of mid-Ulster, so we’re ideally placed for covering a large area. Over the 10 years, I’ve seen the business park and ourselves grow. It’s fantastic to be celebrating 10 years in business,” says Marty McVey, Branch Manager at Cookstown.
Century Electrical’s head office is located in Belfast, while a branch in Newry opened just before Cookstown. The opening of the Cookstown branch represented a large investment for the company at the time but it’s that forward thinking and dedication to advancing the business that has paved the way for the company’s success.
A total of seven staff are on hand to help customers select the right product for the job at the Cookstown branch. “As the business and the branch has grown, staff numbers have gone up and we’ve continued to do that year on year.
