Held in Citywest Hotel, Saggart, Co Dublin over two days in October, there was something for everyone at Ireland’s Electrical Trade Event 2017.
This year’s show was bigger and better than ever, with an increased number of exhibitors in attendance, giving visitors the chance to meet industry experts face-to-face.
Every aspect of the electrical industry was covered over the two days, from lighting, fire and security, power distribution, cable management, testing and measurement to wired and wireless controls, heating and ventilation, solar PV and training.
Interactive demonstrations also played a large role over the two days, with exhibitors ensuring visitors had the opportunity to test their equipment and see for themselves the latest, most innovative products on the market.
At this year’s event, visitors were spoiled for choice when it came to networking with some of the country’s biggest names in the electrical sector.
Distributors, world-class manufacturers, wholesalers and training providers were all on hand to answer questions posed by a diverse attendee base which included electrical contractors, registered electricians, specialist contractors, electrical wholesalers, electrical consultants, builders and architects.
Held as usual in Citywest Hotel, a convenient and accessible location for visitors travelling from all around the country, visitor numbers again increased on last year’s show. Reports from both exhibitors and visitors were extremely positive and with enquiries and stand bookings already confirmed for next year’s show, it looks like the newly named ELECTEX 2018 (previously Ireland’s Electrical Trade Event) is already lining up to be a great success!
